AI Chatbot

A configurable chatbot for websites and internal portals, grounded in your knowledge base, with analytics on what people actually ask.

What it does

A chatbot for the two places they earn their keep: customer-facing support on your website, and internal support where employees ask the same policy and process questions repeatedly.

It is grounded in the content you supply, routes to a person when it should, and reports on what people ask — which is often the most valuable output, because it shows you where your content and processes are failing.

Key features

Knowledge grounding

Connected to your knowledge base, documents or site content, with source visibility on answers.

Escalation and routing

Handoff to a person or a ticket, by topic, sentiment or explicit request.

Conversation analytics

Top topics, resolution rate, drop-off points and unanswered questions.

Internal or external mode

Different content scopes and access rules for employee-facing and customer-facing deployments.

Guardrails

Topic restrictions, prohibited response patterns and a clear statement to users that they are talking to AI.

Feedback loop

Users flag bad answers; flagged items land in a queue with the content owner.

Example use cases

Illustrative scenarios this product is designed for, not descriptions of specific client deployments.

  • Customer support deflection for common product and policy questions
  • Internal IT or HR support answering routine employee questions
  • Helping visitors find the right page or the right person on a large website
  • Pre-sales questions answered out of hours, with qualified handoff the next morning

How it is deployed and integrated

A script embed for a public website, or deployed behind authentication for an internal portal.

Two to five weeks typically, depending on how much knowledge-base cleanup is needed first. Content quality drives quality of answers more than configuration does.

Hosted by us or in your own cloud account.

Integration categories

Categories we can build against. Feasibility for your specific systems and versions is confirmed during scoping — these are not certified partner integrations.

Data and privacy

Content scope and data retention are configured per deployment and documented before launch. Internal deployments can respect your existing access rules so employees only see what they are entitled to.

Conversation logs often contain personal information users typed voluntarily. We agree retention and access to those logs up front.

Before launch, you get it in writing. What data the product can access, where it is processed, how long it is retained, who can read it, and what is logged. If any of that does not work for your policy, it is a design decision we change rather than a limitation you accept.

Questions

About AI Chatbot

How is this different from the Virtual Assistant for SMB?

Mostly scope and packaging. The Virtual Assistant is a smaller, faster setup aimed at small businesses. The Chatbot is for larger content sets, internal deployments behind authentication, and deeper analytics.

Can it answer from documents, not just web pages?

Yes. Document sources are supported; which repositories can be connected is confirmed per project.

What does it cost?

Contact us for pricing. Conversation volume and content scope are the main drivers.
